I’ve been reading tarot since 2012.
I typically read from a traditional RWS lens, mixed with a bit of ancient astrology, Pythagorean numerology, stoicism, and epicureanism. I’m a Black, millennial in my forties, which makes me an Internet Elder, I know—it also means my readings are peppered with emojis, lols, and random Seinfeld references.
I write pretty regularly on Substack, Medium, and here. When I have the spoons, my books are open.
If you’re looking to learn tarot, you should read Seventy-Eight Degrees of Wisdom by Rachel Pollack. If you’re looking for a new RWS tarot deck, you should consider the Neoteric Feminine Deck by Wyspell. And, if you’re looking to learn more about stoicism, you should read The Enchiridion by Epictetus—usually included as part of Discourses.
